Magurele Science Park is a member of the International Association of Scientific Parks and Areas of Innovation
Marian Petrache, President of the Ilfov County Council: “We are honored to be part of this structure, the most important in the world in this field. We are glad that our project of building a science park around the research platform based in Magurele is a convincing one. Building the science park is the opportunity that Romania has to capitalize on, which is why Ilfov County Council initiated Magurele Science Park Association, an association formed by the Ilfov County Council, IFIN-HH, Magurele Municipality. Magurele Science Park Association gathered around it the majority of the research and academic education institutions from Bucharest – Ilfov region. In May the Feasibility Study has been finalized and we have initiated talks with the European Investment Bank in order to obtain financing through the Juncker Plan.”
