The digital laboratory is a free education center, where children and teenagers, together with their teachers, educators or parents can benefit by learning through hands-on activities.
3D modelling and printing, robotics and VR/AR concepts are assimilated by playing with small projects that stimulate imagination and creativity.

Why
SMARTLAB MĂGURELE?
According to European Commission’s Education and Training Monitor of 2018, Romania is one of the countries to fulfil only a few of the objectives for 2020. The Romanian teaching system is based on an old theoretical teaching method that does not meet the requirements set by the needs on the market.
SmartLab Magurele is an opportunity for all children in Ilfov County to assimilate digital abilities and to become familiar with last-minute technologies, helping them in securing future jobs in a digital world.
SmartLab Magurele is a project developed by Magurele Science Park Association as a first step in a larger educational program having in mind the development of the Museum of the Future that will be hosted inside Magurele Science & Technology Park.
