PROJECT TITLE: SMEs engagement for a GREEN transition

ACRONYM: SME4GREEN

General objective

Providing support for SMEs towards a green and digital transition and implementing actions aimed at directing the local economy of Turin (Italy) and Ilfov (Romania) towards a sustainable and inclusive path, creating new jobs, reducing socio-economic problems generated by the impact of the Covid-19 crisis and accelerating of a greener and more equitable recovery at the local level.

Specific objectives

  • Creation, design and delivery of 2 Local Green Deals in Turin (Italy) and Ilfov (Romania)
  • Stimulating transnational cooperation and learning between Turin (Italy) and Ilfov (Romania) for local administrations and 120 SMEs on sustainable, smart and inclusive practices as solutions for the most pressing urban and local challenges related to the green transition of the local economy

  • Local economic operators and SMEs that have a better awareness of sustainability and the improvement of sustainable business models – 10
  • More innovative SMEs in terms of products and services and how they manage their innovation processes and the integration of green  and digital programs – 10
  • SMEs who are aware of EU funding sources (including R&I) and other funding sources for expanding their business internationally, and how to apply and establish contacts with potential investors – 100
